Dandruff regime
Regime is for thick, adherent scales and recurrent dandruff that resist standard shampoos. It pairs Head & Shoulders Smooth & Silky Shampoo (Zinc Pyrithione) on alternate days or daily with WishCare Hydrating AHA BHA Anti-Dandruff Shampoo twice a week to dissolve stubborn scale buildup.
Step 1 (AM)
It has Zinc Pyrithione 1% that controls the Malassezia yeast behind flaking and inflammation, in a sulfate-based cleansing system (SLS/SLES) strong enough for daily oil control on an oily scalp.
A daily or alternate-day maintenance wash, built to run alongside the stronger twice-weekly WishCare exfoliating step.
Step 2 (AM)
While conditioners do not treat dandruff, they help smoothen and protect hair strands that may become dry or brittle due to frequent use of anti-dandruff shampoos.
Avoid applying conditioner to the scalp, as it can worsen buildup and interfere with scalp-clearing therapies. Apply only from below the ear level to the hair ends. If you have very short hair, you can skip conditioner altogether.
Step 3 (AM)
A targeted chemical-exfoliation treatment pairing a multi-acid complex (Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid, and Glycolic Acid) with a dual-antifungal system (Piroctone Olamine and Climbazole) in a barrier-supportive base.
Thick, adherent scales act as a physical barrier that prevents standard antifungal shampoos from reaching the scalp surface. The multi-acid triple combination dissolves the intercellular bonds holding dead keratinized cells together, lifting stubborn buildup so Climbazole and Piroctone Olamine can directly target Malassezia yeast—all while hydrating agents prevent barrier disruption and dryness.
